Bannack Historic Lodge No. 3-7-77, with the assistance of Sharon Prewett, will be providing a great lunch for all the workers that day.
Wear your work clothes and come and help make this a successful day for Bannack.

STARTING AT 2 PM ENJOY THE FAMOUS LUNCH FEAST, PREPARED BY BROTHERS ON DUTCH OVENS, FOR MASONS. FAMILIES & FRIENDS
THEN IMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE TASTY FEAST, MASTER MASONS WILL PROCEED TO THE HISTORIC LODGE TO RAISE A NEW MASTER MASON IN THE OLD BANNACK LODGE BUILDING BUILT IN 1874.
This year we hope to wear more period dress if possible in Bannack for the Annual Meeting,.
Hopefully we be more period dress or if not period just with men in dark pants, white shirts and string or western look period with ties. Vests if want to and dark coats if weather demands, and ladies to compliment men's dress.
WASHINGTON BROTHERS, JIM VANNICE, JERRY MYERS, DIGGER O'DELL AND FRED NOYES AND MONTANA BROTHER JERRY HIMMAN PRESIDED OVER BANNACK HISTORIC LODGE NO. 3-7-77 ANNUAL MEETING AND LODGE OF INSTRUCTION THIS YEAR. NUMEROUS MASONS ENJOYED A FULL LODGEROOM TO REALIZE THE REAL MEANING OF BROTHERHOOD IN THE FRATERNITY. BROTHERS FROM NUMEROUS STATES AND CANADA WERE PRESENT TO SHARE THE PERFECT DAY WITH WEATHER THAT WAS SECOND TO NONE.
THE FUNERAL RE-ENACTMENT COMMEMERATING THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FUNERAL OF BROTHER WILLIAM BELL IN BANNACK WENT WELL W BRO JACK DAVIDSON PERFORMED A VERY FINE AND RESPECTABLE SERVICE FOR NUMEROUS MASONS AND VISITORS TO WITNESS. THE FUNERAL PROCESSION FOLL.OWING THE CASKET TO THE CEMETERY SHOWED THE SUPPORT OF MASONS TODAY WAS NO LESS THAN IT WAS 150 YEARS AGO IN BANNACK.
THE NORMAL RESPONSE OF BROTHERS WHEN SEEN THE NEW BANNACK GROUP-USE OUTDOOR SHELTER, THEY HELPED BUILD, FOR THE FIRST & EVEN SCOND TIME WAS:
THE CELEBRATION OF THE SHELTER WAS A BIG EVENT WITH MANY IN ATTENDANCE ENJOYING A WONDERFUL FESTIVAL THANKING THE MASONS OF BANNACK HISTORIC LODGE NO. 3-7-77 FOR THEIR PART IN BUILDING THE BEAUTIFUL EDIFICE. TOM LOWE OF THE PARK SERVICE WELCOMED AND THANKED THE MASONS WHILE SHARING 150 YEAR HISTORY OF BANNACK AND THE AREA, BANNACK HISTORIC LODGE NO. 3-7-77 MEMBERS, TOM DUFFY SHARED ON THE IMPORTANCE OF CHARITY AND THE GREAT THINGS THE LODGE HAS DONE WHILE PROMOTING CHARITY TO ALL AND DAVE PREWETT EMPHAZIED THE GREAT THINGS MASONS HAVE BEEN DOING IN BANNACK IN THE PAST AND TODAY.
ALL ENJOYED A PERFECT STEAK FRY PUT ON BY DILLON LODGE NO. 16 AND THE SHRINE CLUB.
NUMEROUS CONTRIBUTIONS WERE MADE TO THE LODGE AND ROCKS PURCHASED TO ENHANCE THE SHELTER AND MAKE IT AN EVEN BETTER PLACE FOR ALL..
THANKS TO THOSE IN ATTENDANCE AND ENJOYED THE SPECIAL WEEKEND
FOR THOSE THAT WERE NOT ABLE TO BE IN BANNACK THIS WEEKEND MAKE PLANS TODAY TO BE THERE NEXT YEAR AND WITNESS THE WONDERFUL THINGS YOUR LODGE IN DOING EACH AND EVERY YEAR.

Old Fashioned Pig Roast the Evening before the Bannack Meeting in Wisdom starting at 4 PM next to the Masonic Lodge there.
Come and enjoy some time together, great stories, fine food and see the original Bannack Lodge No. 16 that is now in and used by Wisdom Masonic Lodge No. 61 after their Building had burned in 1925.

MISSION ON BANNACK HISTORIC LODGE No. 3-7-77
The Mission of this Lodge is to work with the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks for the continued maintenance and stabilization of the building along with the upkeep of the Lodge, its furniture and paraphernalia; and for the preservation of the heritage, sights and history of Masonry relating to the Bannack area while enjoying and promoting the fraternity.
RECALLING THE EARLY GOLD RUSH DAYS OF MONTANA TERRITORY, BANNACK HISTORIC LODGE No. 3-7-77 IS A TRIBUTE TO THE COURAGE AND PERSEVERANCE OF MONTANA MASONS DURING TROUBLED TIMES. BANNACK LODGE No. 16 WAS CHARTERED IN 1871 AND ITS IMPRESSIVE NEOCLASSICAL STRUCTURE HOUSING THE LODGE AND THE LOCAL SCHOOL, WAS BUILT IN 1874. THE PRESERVATION OF OUR HISTORY IS THE CONTINUING WORK OF BANNACK HISTORIC LODGE No. 3-7-77.
